Automated Blood Coagulation Analyzers
Automated blood coagulation analyzers, mainly meant for use in scientific research organizations and hospitals, facilitate clinical analytical procedures and require only minimum human assistance. These devices are used for identifying the abnormalities in a patient’s blood.
Attain Accuracy in Your Clinical Procedures
Accuracy and reliability is always a matter of concern when it comes to the diagnosis of diseases. Any wrong or faulty output will bring negative results. Hence, it is important to buy products that are equipped with quality features.
For better throughput, automated blood coagulation analyzers are available with innovative features. They are best equipped with convenient operational features including extensive menu operation with clotting and chromogenic capabilities, video display unit, rotor storage compartment, automatic calibration, coagulation timer and more.
Wholesale Dealers for Brand Name Products
Used and refurbished models of automated blood coagulation analyzers are now widely available for use in low to mid volume laboratories. They have become the most affordable choices for laboratories wanting to keep the expenses under control. You can find them with many retailers and wholesale dealers. Some of the dealers even offer service contracts and warranty along with the products they sell. Benchtop models would be the ideal option for laboratories with space constraint. Refurbished brand name products from Instrumentation Laboratory, BBL, Medical Laboratory Automation and many other renowned manufacturers can also be purchased.
Automated Products to Enhance Your Laboratory Workflow
Automated blood coagulation analyzers reduce the time frame for the analyzing process. Programmable software is used to eliminate time-consuming analytical procedures. They enhance your laboratory workflow. For accurate measurements, various methods of detection are incorporated in these systems. As these products are fully automated and keep abreast with the latest technology, manual errors can be substantially reduced.

Coagulation $89.22 Coagulation is a complex process by which blood forms clots. It is an important part of hemostasis the cessation of blood loss from a damaged vessel, wherein a damaged blood vessel wall is covered by a platelet and fibrincontaining clot to stop bleeding and begin repair of the damaged vessel. Disorders of coagulation can lead to an increased risk of bleeding hemorrhage or clotting thrombosis. Coagulation is highly conserved throughout biology; in all mammals, coagulation involves both a cellular platelet and a protein coagulation factor component. The system in humans has been the most extensively researched and, therefore, the bestunderstood. Coagulation begins almost instantly after an injury to the blood vessel has damaged the endothelium lining of the vessel, this releases phospholipid components called tissue factor and fibrinogen that initiate a chain reaction. Platelets immediately form a plug at the site of injury; this is called primary hemostasis. Secondary hemostasis occurs simultaneously: Proteins in the blood plasma, called coagulation factors or clotting factors, respond in a complex cascade to form fibrin strands, which strengthen the platelet plug. Blood Coagulation $185 This is the first book to give complete insight into the biochemistry of blood coagulation, and demonstrates how this field provides important contributions to fundamental biochemistry, such as enzyme kinetics, lipid-protein interactions, oxidative carboxylation, and cell receptors. The book will be of interest both to biochemists and molecular biologists who want to gain insight into the process of blood coagulation, as well as to those already working in the field of blood coagulation who desire to broaden their insight into its molecular aspects. |

Coagulation Disorders $50 Coagulation Disorders. Each day pathologists are faced with ordering laboratory tests with which they are unfamiliar. An incorrectly ordered test or error in interpreting test results can lead to mistakes that compromise patient safety. Coagulation Disorders is designed to show clinical pathologists, lab managers, medical technologists, and residents how to avoid common errors in test selection and result interpretation in diagnostic coagulation. Utilizing a case-based approach, each chapter features a concise overview of a major diagnosis, with multiple illustrative cases, and then a list of recommended standards of care pertinent to the problem. Just as it is essential for the practitioner in the diagnosis of bleeding and thrombotic disorders to know the appropriate course of action to establish a diagnosis or to appropriately treat a patient, it is equally essential to also know what not to do. Avoiding the mistakes is a critical first step to optimizing patient outcome and maximizing patient safety. Features of Coagulation Disorders include: An emphasis on identifying established, evidence-based standards in coagulation testing; Actual case illustrations of commonly seen errors as well as the result of those errors on patient outcome and laboratory management; Examples of errors which compromise patient safety across all major areas of laboratory medicine; Pocket-sized for portability. About the Series. A key issue for every laboratory and individual laboratory practitioner is the assessment of risk and a current working knowledge of the standards of care established for diagnostic testing via guidelines, major studies and trials. The Diagnostic Standards of Care series presents common errors associated with diagnoses in clinical pathology, using case examples to illustrate effective analysis based on current evidence and standards. In addition to being practical diagnostic guides, each volume demonstrates the use of quality assurance and the role of the pathologist in ensuring quality and patient safety. |

Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation $101.96 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), also known as consumptive coagulopathy, is a pathological activation of coagulation (blood clotting) mechanisms that happens in response to a variety of diseases. DIC leads to the formation of small blood clots inside the blood vessels throughout the body. As the small clots consume coagulation proteins and platelets, normal coagulation is disrupted and abnormal bleeding occurs from the skin (e.g. from sites where blood samples were taken), the gastrointestinal tract, the respiratory tract and surgical wounds. The small clots also disrupt normal blood flow to organs (such as the kidneys), which may malfunction as a result. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Tennoe, Mariam T./ Henssonow, Susan F.
