Above Ground Pool Pump
An above ground pool pump is necessary to keep your above ground pool clean. A good pump will clean out all of the debris in your pool including such things as grass, leaves and twigs of which it cleans the pool by using a screen doing this while your pool water is circulating. The pool pump works on centrifugal force using an impeller. The rotation of the impeller produces the centrifugal force needed for the pump to work. The pump comes in two speeds a single speed pump and a dual speed pump The dual speed pump is hardier and is therefore preferred, especially in places where there are large swimming pools such as spas and resorts.
In most states it is mandated that swimming pools whether they are above ground or below ground should have a filtration system. The filtration system is the tool that keeps it clean and sanitary. If the swimming pool you have or intend to buy is an above ground pool than you will need an above ground pool pump which, as we stated, is needed to keep that clean. The filtration system would include a vacuum. There are different types of vacuums so you should ask the sales person for one that is compatible with your type of pool. In addition, your filtration system will have strainers and skimmers, chemicals and a chart to keep track of your routine of cleaning and disinfecting of the pool.
The basic job of the above ground pool pump is to circulate the water in your swimming pool. The pump circulates the water through a filtration and heat system. If you have the correct size pool pump and filtration system the whole operation can be energy efficient and subsequently cost effective. It is important that the pump is sufficient for the volume of water in your pool in order to be energy efficient. it should also be on a timer to be used at only certain times of the day.
